Description

I am the second owner of this car. I have cherished it so much so that I took care of it very well (routine maintenance). I have had it redone because of moisture in the body kit under the doors. There is some rust starting on the rear wheel wells. Shes been garaged off and on for a year and a half. Tires have plenty of tread. Didn't put too much miles on it after new tires were put on. The problems she does have that I don't have the time or the funds to repair is she uses a lot of antifreeze and I've been told it could possibly be the head gasket. I was putting in a gallon of antifreeze once a week. The usual purge and run until my heat came back. But she still ran beautifully. I recently took her out of the garage so I could add more antifreeze and blew a brake line. So unfortunately I couldn't drive it to get air in the tires. For some reason, the drivers seat doesn't heat up now. That baffled me because I had replaced the switch for the passenger heated seat and now the drivers heated seat doesn't work. The sunroof/moonroof is the type that goes all the way back but now it must be off track because it can only be opened to the vent position. But I had only used the vent position anyway so I didn't notice it until I was going through everything. No one could figure that one out. Anything that had ever gone wrong with the car, I was right on top of it. I never failed the car until now because of the cost of a possible head gasket repair which would also include the intake gasket. Too many prices from different mechanics. Im sure itll be a worthy fix for a Monte Carlo enthusiast as I am. This has been a very good car and that is why I had owned it for so long (12 years). I still have most of the paperwork for everything I had done to the car. If purchased, you will have to bring a car trailer because of the brake line. I have a warranty battery that I need to replace when its sold. Thank you for checking it out.
