Description
1970 Chevy Monte Carlo SS clone, with a recently upgraded 454
CID big block motor that includes a Thumpr 279TH7 competition cam, offering a
cool thump at idle. There is an Edelbrock Victor series intake manifold, Holley
750 double pumper header, forged pistons, upgraded HEI Taylor wires and Mickey
Thompson 1st generation valve covers rounding out the high-quality build on the
motor.
The previous owner spent $5,800.00 on the engine rebuild and upgrades (have the receipts). This motor has approximately 6,000 miles since the rebuild. Chassis has 107,100 miles. This car has AC but no compressor, which is an easy upgrade to do. Additionally, car has power windows, power steering and upgraded brakes with a newly installed larger master cylinder and booster pump. Rear end is a 10 bolt open version. Paint is GM’s Tuxedo Black and it’s very presentable.
Minuses:
Interior is in good shape, but does have a small rip on the driver’s side seat bottom (see photo).
Front and rear bumpers have small dents (see photos)
Reverse light lenses could use replacing (see photos)
Right rear window has several small bubbles around the frame. (see photo)
Owner's experience with this vehicle:
I enjoyed owning this vehicle, now it’s time for someone else to do the same. This Monte Carlo is perfect for someone that is budget minded, and wants their 1st appreciating muscle car or for someone to take it to the next level for street or race use. This is a very solid car that is exactly as represented here. Come see for yourself. Car sold as-is, with a $500.00 deposit required within two days of auction closing. PayPal accepted for deposit. For inquires please email me through eBay. All funds for balance will have to be cleared prior to vehicle and title (Clean Florida title in my name) being released; buyer is responsible for securing pickup and shipping. Located in 33172 zip code. Thank you for looking at my listing.
