Description

Up for sale today is my incredible 1973 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. Car is all original and runs and drives excellent!
About 2 months ago I went with a buddy to look at some machinery and land that was being auctioned off . This car was in the sale too! I came home with the car!
It is a one owner car with a bit over 9,000 miles showing on the odometer. Now I'm not confident that the car has flipped over but it was sold to me as 109K. Nebraska title reads "Exempt".
I was at a classic car affair last month and a guy asked if I was the guy who bought that "Low Mileage" Monte. Now 109k is low for a '73 model and the car shows extremely well, so look at this car and you be the judge.
With the previous owner deceased and never married with no kids. it cant be proven.
The Monte is equipped with it's 350 V8 Engine and 4 barrel carburetor, code L48 and turbo Transmission code M40. It also came with factory dual exhaust, Posi traction and Factory 15 inch rally wheels.
The original purchaser ordered this car!
The color of this car is noted as code 956 "Chamois". As well as a full vinyl top in the "chamois" color as well.
The interior has the bench seat. On a scale of 1 to10 the interior is a strong "9"!
The body and paint look excellent. This car has always been garaged.
The top of the rear seat and the package deck are perfect.
You'll find a ding, scuff, scratch touch up here and there. Looks fine.
Around the headlights you see more chips as this car was a farm gravel road car. It did have mud flaps at all four wheels, I took them off. These saved the lower body from a life of road rash.
The dash is perfect. The seats and carpet look beautiful! See pictures.
The trunk is as nice as the interior. Jack looks never used.
All chrome and glass are above average.
Every things to work fine. The air looks to have been retrofitted from freon. I'm not an a/c man and it does not kick on. Fan works on all speeds but high. Radio is am and works fine.
Car starts at the flick of the key. You'll get a puff of smoke out the exhaust upon starting if you let the car sit for any period of time.
The car was undercoated when new. The underbody shows as dirty and no rust issues.
As well as the body there is no rust. The old fellow waxed this car regularly and he even waxed the door jambs. trunk channeling. and inner fenders. I got most off but some is still evident.
Tires are whitewalls and in ok shape. They appear older but look good.
Rally wheels caps and rings all nice.
The dual exhaust appears to be original, still sounds good, but will need to replaced in the not to distant future.
Overall this is what I'd call the epitome of a survivor. Although not a perfect restored car a very nice well kept original example.
Solid shiny clean and classic styling. First year for this body style.
I'm putting a buy it now price on it as I'd like to sell this car quickly. Room is a factor for me right now. There is a best offer option available.
The car is sold as is. I carry a Nebraska re sale certificate to keep my hobby leaga s per state laws. I collect Mopars.
My certificate is under Superior Auto. in Omaha Nebraska. I've had this since 1997. I'm the only one listed as owner. So car paperwork and titling will be done as Nebraska law requires. Feel good about dealing with me.
There is NO COD on this car. The price we agree upon will be the price paid. I want proceeds to be wired to me. I will accept a money order or check via US mail. However the check must clear my account prior to the car leaving my garage. Due within 7 days.
A 500.00 deposit is due within 48 hours of sale end.
I will not accept pay pal or any other form of payment as the fees are too high.
These are my terms and are not subject to negotiation. If this doesn't work, thank you and please bid on another car.
Have this car inspected, or come see it your self. You should be very pleased.
Any questions please call me to discuss. Please don't "Assume" anything. Questions are welcome any time.
I know of a transporter that can help ship the car. I will assist the driver in loading of the car.
I'm located about a mile off I80 in an industrial area with ample room for pick up and loading.
