1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS Coupe 2-Door 5.0L

Here is a piece of nascar history. The aerocoupe was built to compete with the ford thunderbird turbocoupe. Dale Earnhardt wont the Wiston Cup Championship in this body style in 1987&1988. Only 6252 of the aerocoupes were made. This is one of 6052 aerocoupes that were made in 1987. We are the fourth owners of this car. It has 72,500 original miles on it. It has the original 5.0l 305 v-8 and 200r4 transmission. The original rims are still on the car. It has not had any modifications done to it at all. It is still stock like the day it came from the factory. The car is driven on the weekends and is entered in local car shows. We get alot of complements on the car. The car is fully loaded for that model year except for t-tops. Power door locks,windows,cassette player,ac and trunk opener in glove box. The only thing is the ac does not work and needs to be replaced. There are some other minor things like the ac vents that need replaced and the exhaust system. It was removed because the catalytic converter went bad. It is a great car and a conversation piece for people who did not know about the (bubble back) window on this model car. The car was repainted prior to us purchasing it. The car has been tuned with all new parts. plugs wires etc. New belts and hoses thermostat done recently.
