Description
You are bidding on a 1956 Chevy Nomad restoration project or patina wagon. The wagon has not been plated since 2001. I purchased the wagon a little over a year ago from a hot rod shop in California. The car is being sold with the original black and yellow CA plates, CA pink slip and a bill of sale. The original colors on the car were laurel green and crocus yellow on the exterior with a yellow interior. The car has had one repaint over the original paint probably done in the early 70's. The car has an LS motor and transmission with a Holly fuel injection and Holly accessory front engine brackets. It has had a new floor installed using all original body mounts and supports. The car comes with front disc brake conversion, power brake booster, front and rear springs, drop spindles, the original engine harness, and transmission harness for the LS set up. Please note - the engine and transmission are just installed in the car for mock up - this is not a running and driving car.
The body and trim are pretty nice overall. Looks like the car was bumped at one time in the right hand door post. The door has been replaced and the car shows signs of repair on the quarter panel.
I have the right to stop the auction as this car is listed locally for sale. For any questions or to set up an appointment to see the car before bidding please call me at 269-491-47 five three. Please make sure you OK this with your wife before you start bidding. I recommend all bidders see the car before bidding - third parties are welcome. Good luck - John.
