Chevrolet: Nomad

Selling this gorgeous 1955 Chevrolet Nomad. All of the hard work has been completed on this frame-off restoration. The body is painted in Cherry Red with a Pearl White top. It has a rebuilt 88 Camaro 350 engine with a rebuilt 700R4 automatic transmission. Many new items have been used in this restoration. New wiring harnesses, a new 500 Series power steering gear box, dual exhaust with turbos, disk brakes in the front, and a Vintage air conditioning set up has been installed except for the AC components in the engine compartment. The AC unit does come with the car. Nearly all of the chrome has been redone, including the bumpers, and the rear hatch has been professionally straightened and chromed. A Flaming River steering column with tilt has been installed and all of the glass is new with the exception of the hatch glass, which didn't need replacing. An Edelbrock intake manifold and carburetor have been added along with a high torque mini starter, and a new aluminum radiator. A chromed air cleaner cover adds to the beauty of the engine compartment. After market gauges compliment the wood grain steering wheel. This is a very solid car with a straight body and frame.
No detail has been overlooked in this rebuild. Virtually everything has been done with the exception of selecting your custom interior. Bench seat or buckets, you choose. Select the carpeting and roof liner that fits your personality. There are not many Nomads available in this pristine condition.
