Description

In 1963, Patricia W. graduated from San Juan High School. Her high school graduation gift for being a good student was Ms. Nova. Patricia owned this car until her passing about ten years ago. We acquired Ms. Nova from her daughter. The plan was to do a preservation for resale, but I'm getting way too attached to her (wish I hadn't promised!). Ms. Nova sat neglected for many years as Patricia was in ill health. Since July 2015, we've brought Ms. Nova back to life and she's now to the point where it's time for her "second" owner to finish to their liking. It's important to note that of all the work we've done, nothing was done that you would not have had to do yourself. All new brakes, engine converted to unleaded, complete tune-up, new carb, new hoses, new tail light lenses, correct tires, new muffler, lots of stuff done and some little things to do to finish up. Top in great shape. Interior (not stock, but close) done in the mid-eighties. This is an all numbers match car and the original 194 ci has a lot of attitude. We converted her to unleaded but did not rebuild the block. All compression was good and if the new owner decides to go with a small block V8, then we wouldn't have wasted the time and money to do a full re-build. The entire engine has been repainted and detailed as well. Current mileage is original at 112,963.
For her age, she's in very, very good shape. No rust that I can see; bumpers each have a couple of dings and a the trunk lid is just a little tweeked on the driver's side if you look real close , needs new turn signal unit (in steering column); needs new temp sending unit; door locks replaced or re-keyed; side molding trim has been restored (is not reproduced but well worth the expense); minimal body work as she's never been in an accident that I can see, just a couple of little dings and all glass is good. If I were to keep her as the second owner, I'd return the interior to original (although it's very nice now) and repaint her the original white. We also added NOS hubcaps which made all the difference!
For more complete pictures and information, contact seller. Enjoy for the rest of the summer and fall, then finish her up during the winter. This body style ran from 1962 thru 1964 and only the '62 and '63 offered the convertible model. She deserves to be taken back her original form. Rarely will you see this model that is an unmolested/unrestored original in this condition. Opening bid is our cost-to-date including purchase price, tax, insurance, DMV and parts/labor. Ms. Nova is for sale locally and subject to prior sale.
