Description
I am listing my 1963 Nova SS convertible. I have had this car for over twenty years and recently (within last 5 years) did a rotisserie restoration. This car was from Arizona and one of the most solid Nova's I have ever seen.
All chrome has been replaced with the exception of the middle trim that goes from front to back, trim around top boot and windshield.
Paint is factory white base coat clear coat was done at a local hot rod body shop. Took over two years for completion.
Entire bottom and floor plans have been POR 15 and is as solid as can be.
All sheet metal is original including trunk and quarter panels. The floor pan was replaced to bring to a high level.
Top mechanism was also POR 15 and includes all new rubber and bushings. It is a power top.
The engine is a factory nova block that has been completely gone through including: bored, stroked, heads redone, new 650 Holley carb, electronic distributor, gaskets, exhaust, mufflers
Drive-train is a muncie M21 4 speed that has also been completely redone. This also includes a brand new Hurst shifter. New driveshaft, power disc brakes all the way around. Brand new brake lines and booster. All new poly bushings. Frame has been tied looks factory
Front end is a high performance Church Boys Racing kit with double adjustable shocks and Rack n pinion steering. This kit alone was almost 5k.
I have receipts that total over 50k that will go with car. The only reason for the sale is another project has came up that I have been hunting for. I cant have them both.
New parts include:
Chrome
Bumpers
Rubber seals
Gaskets
Interior complete
Convertible top
Door/window handles
heater core
all factory gauges work
Steering wheel
Wiper motor
Hoses and lines
Power disc brakes
283 chevy bored out with shaved heads and hardened seats. L79 cam, Less than 500 miles since rebuild
4 speed Muncie, all rebuilt with new shifting mechanism
Driveshaft
Rally wheels and caps
BF Goodrich tires
Frame ties
Trunk mat
All sheet metal is GM, no aftermarket metal was used.
There is just to much to list, please email with additional questions or comments. I have over a 100 pictures/videos that can also be emailed. If I keep I will continue to search for the chrome at the boot and middle trim strip that goes from front to back. This is the only time that is not perfect on this car. You can fly in and drive this car anywhere.
Please call or email any and all questions. As you can see from my feedback, I do not want any unhappy buyers. Please do not bid unless you have the money.
Buyers with zero feedback must contact me first with name, address and phone number or your bid will be canceled.
I have title in hand .
Delivery is buyers responsibility, but I will assist in anyway possible. If paid in full, I will hold car for 30 days. Car will not be shipped until funds have cleared.
Car is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end auction at anytime. Reserve is well below market value. To be fair with all bidders, I will not disclose the reserve
