Description
You are looking at my 1971 Chevy Nova. I have owned the car forabout 11 years. This car has brought me a lot of good times throughoutthe years but I am selling it as I just don't have the time to enjoy itanymore. I will do my absolute best in describing the car:
-550-600HP out of a 383 stroker motor built about 6 years ago. I do nothave a dyno proving this number or a build sheet. All I can rememberabout the build is it has 220cc AFR aluminum heads and a .620 comp cam. Ido have a video of the car at idle.
- Turbo 400 tranny
- Holly carb
- Hooker headers
- Front disk brakes, rear drum
- Power steering
-Custom flowmaster 3inch exhaust to a 2.5 inch tip that curves downright behind the rear tires. Really is one of the best sounding cars Ihave come across.
- Only has a 10 bolt rear with 3.73 gears. Ihave not had any issue with the rear end making any sounds or wines, but if this is a car you plan on taking to the strip, I would suggestinvesting in a 12 bolt.
- Only rust I can find on the car is surface rust under the trunk. Other than that its pretty rust free.
- Car does NOT have A/C a radio or speakers in it.
Thecar is just about mechanically perfect. It runs great, starts up everytime, no strange noises or smells from anywhere. But it can use somework mainly on the body. The car has paint bubbles and chips in someareas. I took a picture of the worst areas which are right above thewindows and the passenger front fender. The paint is about 8 years oldand was a really cheap paint job at the time.
IfI was going to keep the car I would probably replace the carpet insideas its faded in most areas to a dark brownish color. I would also addvisors to the inside and the drivers side roll up window rattles if itsfully rolled down. It also needs a wheel alignment.
Tosum it up, other than that body work and paint the car would need, itsbeen a fun car that was mechanically built very solidly.
The buyer is responsible for the shipping.
No RETURNS OR REFUNDS. The car is sold as is and the sale is final.
A $1000 non refundable deposit through paypal within 72 hours of winning the auction is required or the car will go back up.
Car is listed locally and listing could end early if sold.
Happy bidding!
