Description
Chevrolet Nova.
I bought almost two years ago from a jet engine mechanic who built it up as his hobby car.
The motor is dying, so I'm gonna cut my losses and sell it.
No reserve guys, let's see some bids!
10 bolt truck rear end (342)
70s cragar 14 inch w/ Hankook fatboy tires.
Custom painted last May
700r4 rebuilt last June.
New radiator last October
New water pump and tstat same time.
Synthetic oil.
Royal purple in the rear diff, changed last January.
Msd rotor/distributor, MSD ignition box
Battery replaced early July.
Kicker speakers
Solar panel trickle charger
Fresh drums early November
A.c. converted to 134a
Transmission cooler.
Aux electric fan.
Locking gas cap cover.
Welded steel valve covers
Vacuum boost can
Fuel pressure regulator/guage
Headers
Holley high volume carbeurator.
Eidelbrock performance intake
Tilton style starter from Summit
Previous owner claimed it has been lowered one and a half inches, and the leaf springs flipped. My mechanic couldn't see it.
So I'm not certain.
Transformers glue on emblem.
Up to date title and tags.
No notable rust.
The bad:
Weather stripping needs redone on driver's door, weather stripping on trunk needs redone. Passenger window knob needs replaced, driver's side lock needs oiled, 15 mpg gas mileage, dents on body, scratches on paint, chip in windshield, motor is knocking and will die soon, small scratch on passenger headrest area, a.c. compressor is locked up and likely needs replaced, one cragar wheel cap is missing, parking lights not working. Chipped left rear turn single lens (see photo. ) Small crack in plastic front grill. Various age related wear and tear, trunk has some oil spots inside currently being treated with oil dry gravel/litter, engine oil pan leaks, exhaust tubes are installed in a way that makes e-brake cable unable to install, car needs vacuumed, car smells like vanilla air freshener, alternator wiring was sloppily done by Aamco when I had the trans rebuilt last June.
Car is as-is, old cars often have issues, no warranty as to mechanical condition.
Recommend having the car serviced before driving. ^_^
Runs for now, but the engine will die within a hundred miles.
