Description
1963 Nova California car from (Day 1) zero rust under 10k miles since the car was built. The car was built for show but is now a daily driver. Very nice car, very comfortable ride! All trim & chrome looks great; glass is very clear-one small chip on the windshield, upper left. Painted on a rotisserie with two-stage paintthe Heartbeat of America theme was used on the stripes, and throughout the car. The clear coat has lifted in a couple of spots, and was due to chips over time. On the lower right side, a piece of road debris caused a scratch shown in pictures- it needs some touch up.
Allen bolts and braided steel lines and AN fittings were used throughout the brakes, fuel, water. GM tilt wheel, GM front seats, GM front disc breaks & drum rears. The car was converted to five lug bolt pattern with GM parts and dressed with Weld wheels. Alston Engineering did the fabrication work for the frame connectors, custom shock towers with KYB shocks, front & rear.
The dash and gauges with remote oil presser, and water temp is in excellent shape and very clear. The stereo is a Kenwood CD with separate amps, front & rear with Morel speakers. Trunk mounted battery with a case and 1/0 copper welding wire was used.
The engine is a 327 with period correct double hump fuelie heads, Crane cam, Edelbrock four barrel carburetor & intake manifold. Accel HEI distributor withTaylor wires, deep sump oil pan, and a high volume oil pump. It was built with the best of parts throughout.
Transmission is a turbo 350 with a mixed shift kit and a B&M shifter.
The radiator is aluminum with a intregrated transmission cooler but a remote cooler was used with duel electric fans and a remote catch tank.
The rear axle is a ten bolt with nice, around town gearing, powder coated to match the car.
It is a long listany questions give me a call. Matt 916-225-0151
PS The car was just fully serviced from front to rear, ready to go! Good luck bidding
