Description
This is a no reserve auction, you are bidding to own the car, there is no "buy it now" price.
You are looking at a 1971 chevy nova, It comes with a small block v-8, Holley intake and recent 4 barrel Holley carburetor. It has a new high performance HEI distributor, new alternator, and belts, new high capacity aluminium radiator. It has power steering and power brakes, Automatic 700r4 (4 speed overdrive) transmission, recently serviced, factory tinted windows, it was an A/C car, but parts were removed.
The front has a new slotted/drilled disc brake kit, which includes new calipers, brake lines, and pads. Front also has a new brake master cylinder and proportioning valve. Front end also has new coil springs.
Wheels are American racing "torque thrust" 15 inch with cooper tires, plenty of tread remains.
Interior has new carpet. The rest is pretty consistent with an old car, not perfect, but presentable for now.
The rockers and floors are very good! Only one spot on the passenger floor has a small patch. Trunk pan has been replaced with a factory style stamping.
Trunk and door seals are new, windshield is also new.
Car fires right up and runs well! It is quiet as it still has the factory single exhaust. Steering is good for an old car. Brakes are better than factory drums for sure!
The body looks pretty good for its age!
The car is almost 50 years old, so it is not perfect, do not expect a new Toyota , It has minor dents, surface scratches, imperfections etc. I believe the car will be a good "driver", not a show car, or restore it to show car status if you wish!
The car had been off the road for a few years, but I believe all the maintenance and repairs have made it roadworthy once again. It may need more work/adjusting/tinkering. Texas title in hand (from 1984!)
You are bidding to OWN the car, not the right of first refusal, therefore, the $500 deposit is due at the end of the auction, only bid if you fully intend to follow through, and you have your significant other's blessing! You are welcome to ask questions or come see the car and I will do my best to accommodate you . Thanks for looking!
