1964 CHEVROLET SS NOVA
“@ NO RESERVE”
Up for your consideration and at no reserve is this amazing 1964 Chevrolet Nova SS Coupe vin# 40447N173134. This beautiful Nova is painted Artesian Turquoise and was featured in Chevy High Performance magazine back in 1991. It was owned then by Mr Chuck Conaway whom was also featured in the article. The current owner purchased the car in 1997 at a Super Chevy show in Commerce Ga. The car came with a signed copy of the magazine. Sadly, the current owner has passed last year and his wife has asked for our help finding a good home for the Nova. This car has been tweaked back to a more street able car since the article was written. The current configuration features a high performance GM 350 4 bolt crate motor with Hooker fender well headers and 3” Flowmaster exhaust. Has MSD ignition and Malory distributor. The transmission is automatic with 2800 stall and cheetah shifter. The rear end is a 8.5 Auburn unit – 30 spline M\E race axles and 3:73 gears. Front brakes are Wildwood Heavy duty discs. Rear are new GM Camaro drums. This car is in excellent condition with no rust. The paint is older but high quality and in excellent condition. The interior is very clean and very nice condition. The car runs, drives and sounds amazing. It has a fairly nice cam lick but holds a solid idle at the red lights. The car sounds mean and is a no apology classic that will fit in at any car show or cruise in. Please review the current pictures supplied and feel free to call and ask all the questions you wish. This is a nice car.
If you have any questions about this beautiful cars condition or history, please feel free to contact Jerry at 864-934-6358. He has been best friends with the family for many years and I’m sure he’ll be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. We really just want to see this car find a good home.
