The Details;This 31' Chevy Coupe has a beautiful all steel drop-dead gorgeous body. The body, fenders and running boards are all steel they are arrow straight and the panel fit is up to standard. The body was refinished in a stunning mirror glass quality two-tone Paint. The original rust-free frame is excellent. The chrome has been nickel plated beautifully polished in show condition. It has excellent original Chrome Headlights and the original hood emblem is spectacular. It has excellent glass with very cool roll up or down feature on front and rear windows. The wheels are painted Cream with chrome spokes and new wide white wall Firestone premium tires that really look outstanding. It has the optional dual mounted spare tires. The rumble seat area is carpeted and trimmed in new leather and looks outstanding. The beautiful restored tan cloth interior has amazing original factory details thru-out. It has all the original working factory gauges, steering wheel, the original tools/jack remarkably still remain intact under the seat, e-brake, only an under dash stereo was added and so much more. The engine detailing is show worthy under the hood and to see that awesome Chevy straight-cylinder engine with all the original components is a rare joy indeed. It has a rebuilt original generator, new engine valve job, rebuilt water pump, rebuilt original updraft carb,and so much more detail thru-out. The frame/floors/trunk are straight/solid were preserved during the restoration. This 31' has been preserved original and is a real rarity to see in this beautiful condition.
The Mechanics;The heart of this 31' Coupe is its factory straight-six cylinder engine that had a fresh valve job, a rebuilt generator, rebuilt updraft Carter carb, rebuilt water pump, all new rear axles and new rear bearings, new throw out bearing, brakes, 6 volt and more. This 31' Chevy Coupe has been fully rebuilt wherever was needed during the restoration and the original factory parts were carefully preserved to the keep the integrity of the historical significance intact. It runs and drives excellent for an 83 year old gal. Everything works properly as it should.
