1954 Chevrolet 3100 1/2 ton 5 Window Truck

Here up for bid is a 1954 Chevrolet 3100 1/2 ton 5 window pickup, 6 cylinder engine, 3 speed on the column, starter in the floor by the gas pedal. This truck has had a complete restoration starting with an excellent solid southern truck. The engine came from a 1955 Chevrolet passenger car and was in good condition and not needing restoration having just been driven to Pigeon Forge, of all places, just prior to being pulled for this truck. This truck has been taken apart and completely restored. Almost everything is new. Windshield is new, other glass is original, paint is new and excellent top and bottom, only a few minor flaws, could be even better with a sand and buff, tires are new, wheels are brand new 15 in. 6 lug as original in light gray, I will keep the wheel covers in the photos, this truck should have small caps anyway, steering wheel is original, shocks are new, seat cover is new, the electrical system has been changed to 12 volts. This truck is equipped with a new gas tank, aluminum radiator, battery, brakes, brake lines, and speedometer cable. The fuel guage and speedometer work, the other dash guages do not. Modern oil pressure, amps, and water temp have been added under the dash and work great. Guage lights work. There is a place for a radio but there is no radio. Heater core had a slight leak so I bypassed it, no need for heat this summer. They don't reproduce this heater core. A company in New York rebuilds them. The 3 stage heater fan is new and works great including the little light in the switch knob. Headlights, taillights, and blinkers are all new and all work. Parking brake works. The spare tire carrier is in place but there is no spare tire. This truck runs and drives just like a 1954 truck should and is basically almost a new truck. Personal inspection of this truck is highly recommended. This truck will be sold on a Georgia Bill of Sale and it has a current Georgia license tag. There is no waranty or guarantee with this truck.
