Description
Up for Auction is my 1957 Chevrolet 3100 pick-up, this truck is a highly desirable big back window custom cab. It took first in-class at it first show.
It has underwent a full frame off restoration of the body, any flaws or rust were fixed or replaced. Professionally painted in GM Silver Birch Dupont base /clear coat . New bed with cherry wood and Stainless Steel inserts, all of the chrome is either re-plated or new.
The interior has been redone in Ox Blood Red, with matching carpet and painted accents on the dash and door panels. New Dolphin white face gauges in a chrome gauge cluster. Wiring is new from Watts. Vintage Air A/C blows cold. New tinted windshield and one piece side windows that have been tinted along with the rear glass. New regulators, door latches and door seals.
The chassis has been professionally re-done with Jaguar front and rear independent suspension, rack and pinion power steering and 4 wheel disk brakes. New custom fuel tank mounted in the frame under the bed. 17" Torque Thrust wheels and new tires. Handles really nice but yet very smooth.
Powertrain is a tried and true SBC 350 crate motor with Edelbrock intake and a Holley 600cfm 4 bbl, Stainless Steel headers and exhaust, All new. TH700r4 overdrive has been rebuilt and shifts nice, new driveline and u-joints.
