1959 Chevrolet APACHE 3100 Short Wheelbase Step Side 4Wheel Drive Frame Off Restoration/Modification.
Frame was blasted and modified to accept a later model Chevy V8 engine, automatic transmission, transfer case, later model Z71 close ratio power steering box. The frame was shot with Sherwin Williams single stage, semi flat, catalyzed black urethane paint. Factory front and rear axles swapped out for later model. Chevy truck axles, both equipped with factory disc brakes. Installed GMGoodwrench 350 4 bolt main 260 HP engine with slightly hotter camshaft. The iron heads replaced with aluminum performance heads and Corvette center bolt valve covers. Much more…Current mileage 5,400.
