Chevrolet trucks from the desirable “Square Body" era are becoming ever-more desirable- enthusiasts as well as buyers who want a vintage pickup that they can use for light duty work will want to take a look at this one! Painted in Light Yellow, this pickup appears to be stock all the way around and features a desirable White camper shell that offers utility, protection and let's face it style as well! This C20 has fresh Firestone radial rubber surrounding stock steel wheels with hubcaps for a vintage look. Our consigning seller is representing that they are the original owner of this vehicle and that it maintains its “numbers-matching" powertrain including the 350 CID V8 engine (5.7l) with a 4bbl carburetor and a 3-speed automatic transmission. Under 65,000 miles have been traveled on this 1979 Chevrolet according to the seller, although this is unverified by Gateway Classic Cars. These pickups had independent coil-over front suspension from the factory and front, power disc brakes. Inside this C20 its clear that while this was still a pickup that wasn't going for luxury, the Scottsdale trim was the one to choose if you wanted a more upscale experience. Everything appears to be in factory condition including the Saddle vinyl bench seat with seat belts and door panels which do show some signs of minor wear. The gauge cluster is functioning well to keep you fully informed, meanwhile the air conditioning has been converted to run newer freon and blows cold. The AM/FM stereo also works well. AVAILABILITY: We advertise our inventory across multiple websites. It is best practice to inquire about the advertised vehicle prior to purchasing in order confirm that it was not already sold. Vehicles may be sold prior to its eBay advertising ending, and we reserve the right to end advertising/listing early or to cancel any and all bids/offers solely at our discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation. In the event that a bidder has the winning bid or finalizes the buy it now price, but did not check availability and the vehicle was sold before a deposit and contracts were executed, then we are not liable nor responsible.
AS-IS WHERE-IS: All vehicles are sold on an AS-IS WHERE-IS basis. Having a third party inspection and addressing any concerns is recommended prior to purchase. It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to verify all advertisements which shall include but not limited to options, accessories, and vehicle condition before time of sale. PAYMENT: We require a non-refundable $1,000 deposit within 24 hours of offer being placed. A deposit is a commitment to purchase and is applied towards the purchase price. The commitment to purchase is not contingent upon inspection, financing, or any other terms or conditions.
We require full payment within 7 days of offer acceptance, unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing.
If the deposit and/or full payment are not provided within said time frame, all vehicles will be relisted and transaction will be considered null and void.
We accept wire transfer (preferred), cashier's check, personal check (vehicle shipment will be delayed until check clears), ACH, credit cards (for the agreed deposit amount only and will incur a 3% fee), and in person cash payments. We also offer vehicle financing, please inquire for details prior to making bids/offers. PayPal and American Express is not accepted.
VEHICLE RELEASE: Signed purchase packet which shall include but not limited to the purchase contract, cleared payment in full, and a copy of your driver's license will be needed before the vehicle is released.
Fees and Taxes
All finalized transactions will have additional charges if applicable which could include the following: sales tax, title fees, license & registration fees, and other additional government or licensing agency charges to register the vehicle. The purchaser is responsible for these charges.
The advertised price and winning auction bids shall include a document fee of $397.63.
