Description
1951 Chevy 3100 pickup truck chassis for sale.
Chassis was completely redone from a bare frame with no expense spared. The original completion date was in 2005.The 216 cubic inch six cylinder was professionally rebuilt with larger pistons and hardened exhaust seats to run unleaded fuel and all internal engine parts were refurbished or replaced. The differential and transmission were dismantled, cleaned and needed parts replaced.
A Fenton split exhaust was used to create a true dual exhaust. The transmission, differential, brakes, and all associated parts were stripped, painted or powder coated for durability.
Since rebuilt the vehicle has accumulated less than 1000 miles to and from various car shows where it won several awards and has been stored in an air conditioned and heated climate controlled shop until the body was recently transferred to an modern frame and powertrain, leaving this nearly new pristine complete original frame and drive train assembly available for someone needing a turnkey solution to the mechanical underpinnings of a 1951 era Chevy or GMC pickup.Comes complete with six volt gauge package, the under dash wiring harness plus other harness pieces, the original radiator and gas tank and miscellaneous parts that were not used in the transfer.
Shipping is negotiable.
