1957 Chevrolet pickup, Big Window, short bed, 1/2 ton stepside. New 290hp 350 cu in. GM crate motor that was installed in January 2012. Turbo 350 automatic transmission, FAT MAN stage 2 mustang II front end with big disc brake option. Power rack and pinion steering. "IDIDIT" tilt steering column. "Vinta ge Air" heater and defroster (No A/C) "NoLimit" engineering FAT BAR, 4 bar rear suspension with airbags. Aluminum diamond plate bed floor, vintage American racing torq-thrust wheels, BF Goodrich tires.
Also comes with another custom big window cab and 2 extra doors and miscellaneous smaller parts. This truck needs to go to somebody with the time, money, and space to finish it. All the chassis, suspension, and engine swap work has been done. Just needs to be taken apart and finished the way YOU want it.
The bed and rear fenders, tailgate are in excellent condition, as is the hood, grill and right front fender, left front fender is marginal. The cab and doors on the truck have rust conditions, as also the windshield has a crack, the objective for this truck was to switch over to the better cab as shown in the pictures, and replace with new glass, wiring, and weather stripping at that time. The other cab is in very good condition with very little rust issues. All the holes in the firewall have been welded up and smoothed, the dash between the ashtray and glovebox has been smoothed as well. The headliner hole on the inside of the cab has been filled and molded smooth. The other pair of doors are 100% rust free. The truck is driven back and forth to work everyday, is reliable, starts easily, good reliable driver. Ask any questions, truck is sold as is.
