Description

1952 chevy ½ ton cab-on restoration. Truck is located in Fayetteville, Texas and was sold in Industry, Texas in 52, just 20 miles away from it's location now.

Original speedometer had 89,000 miles on it before it was replaced during restoration. I don’t know if the speedometer rolled or not truly. I was told that was original miles when I bought it. Mechanically by condition, it’s hard to argue not. The truck was disassembled in 2013, media blasted, epoxy primed and painted, exterior, interior, and underbody by Brazos Valley Auto Restoration in Bryan, Texas. Original exterior paint color. Close to original interior color, original is not available. Cab, doors, front fenders, and bed are original. Rear fenders and tailgate are replacements. New door corner glass frames and glass, and door glass. All new gaskets. New exterior and interior door knobs, and latches. New door and headliner panels. New gauges and speedometer. Original bench seat rebuilt and restored. Original wheels, new tires and hubcabs. New grille. New brakes, wheel cylinders, and flex hoses. New gauges. Bed wood is pine, stained and varnished. The list of new items and hardware is endless. I have a pile of receipts.
Converted to 12 volts. Rebuilt original generator with 12-volt field. Have original radio, but elected not to restore or replace. Will go with truck. Did not pull and repaint engine which was rebuilt by prior owner, very strong, and starts at the first push of the floor starter. Cleaned and painted heater, core good, but fan not operable at this time. Original three speed transmission and original rear end. Has a minor oil leak at the rear transmission seal inside the impeller shaft assembly, minor as in couple of drops after driving. Drives straight.
