1997 Chevrolet Silverado Z71-Original Owner

You are viewing my 1997 Chevy Silverado Z71 finished in onyx black over gold. It still retains its original paint and still shines really well and has never been in an accident. It does have the typical Chevy clearcoat peeling on the hood. The body is straight with a couple of minor dings and one dent on the 3rd door, but overall very clean for a 17 year old truck and in above average shape for most others Ive seen from these years. The underside is solid with no rust, all cab mounts are in perfect shape as are the floors and underside of the bed. Inside, the truck was ordered with the optional tan leather seats- the drivers side is ripped on the left side and there is a split on the right side of the passenger seat, the rear seats are in nice shape. I priced what it was to repair both seats ans it was approximately $200. The carpets are clean and free from stains. There is a console between the front seats as well as an optional over head console. The Z71 has its original 5.7 (350) engine with only 142,632 original miles (and will go up as it is my daily driver) and if you know Chevys, thats barely broken-in. These trucks will go 300,000 miles or more with proper care. The truck has always been well maintained with all maintenance performed either when it was due or before. The front tires are brand new. It drives perfectly down the road and the transmission shifts flawlessly. It has the Z71 off road package which includes the heavier duty suspension and tow package. It even has a brake controller for towing a trailer as well. There is a tonneau cover over the bed and a bedliner was installed and has protected the bed since new. The truck also has the optional push button four wheel drive that has always worked with no problems. All power options work as the should including the air conditioning. The truck has never let me down and I really dont want to sell it, but my growing family actually needs a Tahoe with extra seating. A fair reserve price was set on the truck.
