Description
1950 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe Coupe. It has a 235 ci Chevrolet engine from a 1957 Chevy truck for better performance. It still has the 3 speed manual transmission but the original differential was replaced by one from a 1954 chevy Bel Air with Power Glide for better highway cruising speed (65-70 mph).
The car was lowered 3" using blocks in the rear and springs in the front to give the car a better stance since these cars were so high.
The car is perfect cosmetically including paint, and all the chrome.
All 4 tires are tubeless white wall American Classics in great condition with a lot of thread left, including the spare.
The interior is good, shows to tears or holes in the seats or headliner. The trunk is original.
The car drives and runs good, I live in Miami, Florida and have cruise to the Florida Keys several times with no problems.
The brakes and master cylinder are good and the car stops with no problems.
The car also has a new water pump with a bigger pulley in order for the engine to circulate more water and stay cooler.
The engine is full oil pressure like today's modern engines, so less chances of blowing up a piston or something internal.
The clutch is good, and all gears work fine (1, 2, 3 and reverse)
I am asking $27,500 or close to it.
