Description
This truck is one of 120 3/4 Ton (K20) 4x4 Suburban's built in 1967.
Current Condition: Truck runs, drives, and stops. However, it is a work in progress.
Engine: It sports a freshly painted refreshed 1968 Chevelle or Nova 327. The engine suffix is T??09EE. It has a stock 4-barrel carb. New HEI distributor, with a new cap and rotor. New battery. I have a new camshaft on hand.
Transmission: 4 speed manual transmission (granny low).
Transfer Case: (According to PO) is a Rockwell T-221. It has a leaking seal, but I have replacement parts.
Rear End: Eaton.
Front Differential: appears to be a Dana 44.
I have a set of 2004 Chevy aluminum rims on it now with a spare, All the tires need to be replaced.
The doors have been taken apart and most of the parts that are needed to put them back together have been sourced and are on hand. They still need some cleaning and paint. I have all new rubber, window fuzzies and new locks.
Seats: The seats are out of a 2000 Suburban. The front seats are electric (they work fine but need to be connected to the vehicles electrical system. The front seats have integral seat belts.
Missing damaged parts: Front and rear windows cracked. Left rear window broken (replacement glass is on hand). No rear bumper.
There is rust in the rear quarter panels and front floors. Replacement panels are available at a very reasonable price. I have the rear quarter patch panels in hand. The rear hatch needs body work but opens and closes fine. The rear lock does NOT have a key but does operate (less the locking part). I have not been able to find a replacement lock.
The front brake shoes are in good condition. I have not inspected the rear brakes. The master cylinder might need to be replaced.
The engine, transmission, transfer case, and front differential oils have all been replaced. I’ll get to the rear end if I get a chance, otherwise, there is fresh gear oil on hand.
It has a new light switch, the wiper motor works (new wipers on hand), the heater blower is new.
New gas tank. The sender that came with the tank has the wrong ohms rating; I have the correct sender on hand.
The buyer is responsible for setting up their own shipping as the truck is not road worthy for any distance.
$500 deposit required within 2 days (48 hours) of the end of the auction. The balance is due in CASH (ie. NO checks, NO money orders, NO bank transfers, NO Paypal ect) CASH is required to be U.S. Currency.
