Description

One of approximately 50 left. 1,382 produced (last year for the 3 door body style). 879 produced with tailgate (503 made with rear doors). Approx. survivor rate of 25% (per Old Chevy Truck Club). Approx. 25% were equipped with front and rear A/C (recent rebuilt, blows cold). Have production sheet for verification.
Same owner last 20-years, garaged. Original owners manual, emissions and the "Protect-o-Plate".
Over the past 20-years: Rust removed (floor pans, rockers, rear quarter panels), rust protection applied where accessible (inside doors, panels etc). Rig is pretty much rust free. Interior removed two coats of Hurculiner applied by hand from front to rear. Interior recovered (no rips, stains or tears, or broken down seats), motor replaced 10-years ago after original went at 110,000 miles with 350, .30 over with RV cam. Window regulators replaced (windows roll up and down easy), new door seals, window seals, window felts. New A/C and heater controls, cables, A/C switch on plenum, hoses, vents, vent balls and felts, front brakes (factory disc) and rear brakes (brakes are probably about 90 and 95%, fluid has been changed four times in the last 20-years).
Last 2-years: New tunes, amp, speakers, powered sub-woofer (with remote volume), suspension (new 2.5" soft ride springs on all corners with custom ordered Bilstien shocks), tires (Toyo A/T 325/ 18), wheels (Ultras offset in in the front 1", offset out in rear 1" to align front and rear due the wider Dana axle up front), tires might have 1,000 miles on them. New remanufactured A/C compressor, instrument cluster, circuit board, switch's and bulbs, tranny rebuilt with mild shift kit, transfer case resealed, front and rear diff. covers pulled, refastened with stainless bolts. Tranny and diff's have synthetic in them, 15,000 receiver, bumpers, tail lights, turn signal lens's, exhaust system with Flowmasters, etc.
To much to list and can't remember all the work that has been done.
Contact me if: you would like an email on a Word doc with detailed information and Chevy production number sheet.
I recommend viewing the video on YouTube; search for "diddy's 1972 Chevrolet Suburban" for better idea of condition, also Cars.com, Classic Chevy Trader and Craigslist, Seattle.
Is being advertised as is and is not in perfect 10 out of 10 condition: Missing head liner (has never had one and is not available as an after market part, could be custom made). I would still consider it a 8.5 out of ten and a 10 as far a collectability with Protecto Plate.
Can be financed at $27,750.00 by most lenders, N.A.D.A. book is $27,750.00
