Before you and up for bid is my 1996 Chevrolet Suburban C2500. The particulars of the Suburban are as follows:
* ONLY 18,982 actual miles since new, YES, you read that correctly!!
* One adult owner, career law enforcement (30+ years), ordered and purchased new from DAY CHEVROLET in Monroeville, PA., and shipped to S. Florida as a new truck.
* A garaged & pampered, non-smoker SUBURBAN.
The law enforcement officer always had the use of a personal cruiser which accounts for the Suburban being minimally driven during the last 20 years.
It is in pristine condition inside and out.
* Current CARFAX certified (in hand) which corroborates the ownership, mileage, and NO accident history of the vehicle.
* NO winters and therefore NO exposure to salt, mag chloride or any winter corrosives.
Guaranteed to have ZERO rust! (see pic of beneath the door, it is indicative of all 6 doors)
* An ordered truck, not randomly selected from dealer inventory. In addition to all of the standard safety & convenience features, it was ordered with the following options:
* First year VORTEC 7.4 Liter, 454 V8 fuel injected gas engine, these L29 engines with their 290 hp and 410 lb/ft of torque, (3200 rpm) are highly sought after specifically for their greater dependability, durability, torque and towing capacity over the GM 6.5 diesel offered that year.

According to Chevrolet, the L29 engine when mated with a 3:73 rear end is rated to tow 8000 lbs. Equipped with the 4:10 rear end, the towing capacity increases to 10,000 lbs. Conversely, the 6.5 diesel engine of that year is rated to tow only 6000 lbs.

What does one really need to say about an 18K mile Suburban, as it speaks for itself. Please look at all the pictures.
Amazing paint with a mirror finish,(see hood pic)it is indicative of the reflection to be found over the entire truck, free from any door dings, super clean interior and an immaculate engine compartment.

It is not that the Suburban is cleanit simply has never been allowed to get dirty. It has to be among the cleanest, lowest mileage Suburban's in the country.

I do have a reserve set for the Suburban. It is commensurate with the ownership history, the condition of the truck, and the very low miles. DO NOT ask me what the reserve is, as I will not disclose it.

The Suburban, its title and bill of sale, will not be released until the truck has been paid for in full. Upon receiving payment in full, I will overnight VIA FEDEX all documents to the new owner or hand deliver them to you in person, if you are to fly in and drive home.
