Chevrolet: SUBURBAN Snowburban

Up for auction is a 1990 Chevrolet Suburban that was featured in May 2011 Petersens 4wheel & Off-Road as the cover rig. Labeled as Snowburban, this rig was built for the snow, but the way it is set up it can be used for any type of wheeling that you could think of. It sits on 46x19.5x20 Mickey Thompson Baja Claws, with Stazworks 16x20 double bead locks. The TBI Full Roller 454 V8 has less than 500 miles, and the 700R4 has been recently rebuilt with all the cool upgrades. The transfer case is a NP 241 that has been recently rebuilt. The front end is a Air locker equipped Teraflex CRD Dana 60 High Pinion Reverse Rotation with Longfield 300m super axles,that's angled for higher clearance. The rear end is an full floating Dynatrac Dana 60 with 35 spline chromoly axles and Detroit Locker. Both are equipped with 4:88 Yukon gears. Other extras are onboard air, ConFerr roof rack, Lowrance 540c Baja GPS, dual electric fans, tranny cooler with fan, Painless wiring harness, two brand new Napa Gold batteries with inline battery selector switch, custom switch panel, underbody lights mounted up front and on both sides, hydraulic assist steering, hydraulic bump stops mounted on each corner, remote reservoir shocks, pre-runner style front winch bumper with almost new Warn 16,500 winch, rear winch bumper that is set up for a warn winch, reinforced frame, custom ladder bar to prevent axle wrap, off road lights up front and on roof rack, custom driveline loop, custom fender flares and running boards that form a exoskeleton that attach to the front and rear bumper, and are removable, 14 inch 6 piston Wilwood disc brakes front and rear, 45 gallon fuel cell, and Doug Thorley headers that feeds into a custom dual exhaust. interior floor has been sprayed with Linex.
