Description
Hello,
I'm selling my Suburban, which has been my backup vehicle for the last six months and before that it was our family hauler. This truck has had a lot of work performed to it to make sure it was always safe and reliable to drive my wife and six kids around. I'm selling because we are going to be moving in spring and don't want to bring it with us. This truck is awesome in the snow, and has not left us stranded or stuck in the two years we have owned it.
This truck has an exterior coating by Herculiner. This is a roll on bedliner that is rugged and tough. I cut out all rust damage and welded in new sheetmetal, I then applied light bondo, primer and painted. After a couple weeks, I sanded and cleaned the entire outside of the truck. I applied 4 coats of liner on the bottom half of the truck and 3 coats on the top half. The finish is not perfect, but looks great and does its job. I have not repaired the rocker panels yet, as this is the last rust damage.
The following are all parts I have had serviced on the truck:
Transmission professionally rebuilt and updated at 187816Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, pcv valve, air and fuel filter, lower intake gaskets, water pump, thermostat, belt, and tensioner at 189981Radiator, brake lines, fuel lines, fuel pump and sending unit at 182591Dual battery upgrade and alternator at 193938Transfer case module, encoder motor, switch in dash, transfer case fluid at 191,871Rear brake shoes, wheel cylinders, axle seals, rear differential fluid at 184891Front brake pads, rotors, calipers, and hoses at 191162Front differential fluid, upper ball joints, tightened front keys, 3" rear blocks, skyjacker off road shocks in rear at 188691LT285/75R16 (converted to 33" tall and 9" wide) Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10 All terrain off road tires at 189201A/C compressor, dryer, orfice tube, rear lines, rear evap, rear txv valve, blower motor, rear heater lines at 186982Rear driveshaft new yokes ujoints and balanced, transmission mount at 192781Side mirrors replaced with heated backglass mirrors at 185391Headlight bulbs and housings, all marker housings, turnsignal housings, brake housings, led third brake light at 185184Fender flares, Rust removal and repair, rhino liner at 195394The oil was serviced every 2700 miles. The check engine light is on and off at times due to catalytic convertor efficiency codes. This has nothing to do with drivability or gas mileage, just an emissions issue. There are some small oil leaks from oil cooler lines and high pressure power steering line. There are no coolant leaks or Freon leaks. There is an exhaust leak from the dual flange catalytic convertors to rear pipe. This can be welded at any repair shop for under $50. The dash has a couple cracks in it, nothing to severe. The headliner has some cuts, but all seats are complete with no tears. I had to cut out third row driver side plastic arm rest to fit our car seats in the back bench.
There is about $600 worth of extra parts I have acquired for this truck also included in sale of truck. I bought them at the time of other repairs, and did not install due to not being needed or no time. They include : 3" Body lift, front wheel hubs, master cylinder, skyjacker front shocks, prothane control arm bushings, pitman arm, door lock actuator, window motor, mirror switch, fuel filler steel neck and rubber hose, ignition coil.
