Description
2011 Chevrolet Tahoe Texas Edition. This truck belonged to my best friends parents, who were the original owners back in 2011. I recently purchased the Tahoe after many many attempts of buying, but they finally gave in. The truck is in great shape, with only 107k miles on it. Shifts perfect, sounds good, and as smooth as I can remember it when they bought it. I would trust this SUV to go anywhere as is, right now!!
Exterior:
Black paint shows well, with no fading, cracking, or thinning. It stayed in the garage its whole life and always taken care of. When i bought it, it needed tires, so I went ahead and found some OEM Cadillac Escalade wheels and tires from a 2021. They were taken off as soon as he bought the Escalade and sold them to me. They fit perfect and look great. I have some Chevy center-caps that will fit and in my opinion, these wheels update the Tahoe big time. The biggest improvement I've done cosmetically are the headlights. They are Alpha nova headlights which cost me $1k, and i promise you will not see anyone else with these headlights. Mainly because they are pricey, and two, not many people know about them. They look better than factory, and i think they look better than the factory headlights of the 2015-2020 generation as well. The 2021 Tahoe headlights, I must say look great There are two door dings on the passenger side rear wheel well, and that is about it. The rest of the truck is nice and straight. I replaced the 3rd brake light to the nice full LED light that lights up all the way across.
Interior:
Its clean inside, with no wear to the seats, carpet, door panels or center console. It does come with 3rd row that is not installed now, but is present and will come with truck. Everything is original inside, and has never been messed with.
Mechanical:
The engine is strong, and has never given any issues. Since I've had it, i replaced the motor mount, changed oil and transmission oil, along with a brake light switch. Other than that, I haven't had to do anything to it. It is in tip top shape and could be driven anywhere for any occasion, whether its a daily driver or long trips, it will take you and bring you back in comfort. AC is cold, heat works as it should, and all windows, seats, and switches work as they should.
THINGS IT NEEDS:
Windshield is cracked but not in view of driver and passes inspection. Annoying, but doesn't need to be replaced now.
Dash is starting to do the typical Chevy cracking. Poor design, and now a days no matter how garage kept it is, you will probably find the dash slightly cracked somewhere. This one isn't bad, but thought I'd mention it.
Can not complain about this SUV and if I wasn't in the need for a new Honda Accord/Camry or anything that saves me gas, I would not get rid of it. I do have video of the truck, with me walking around it and showing the condition if you would like to see it.
Thanks,
