Chevrolet: Tracker LT

This 2002 Chevrolet Tracker LT has always been retiree owned and is in exceptional condition. It has never been owned by kids or abused off road and has been babied its whole life. The Tracker has always been garaged, carefully maintained, never in an accident, is rust free, and owned by non-smokers. The vast majority of the miles have been highway miles and it drives very tight and has a new car feel. Finished in Medium Green Pearl Metallic with the bottom silver body cladding (or armor) and alloy wheels, it has a very attractive appearance.
Since this Tracker is the LT edition, it is highly optioned including: V6 engine, automatic transmission, air conditioning, power windows and locks, remote entry, CD radio, tilt, cruise, alloy wheels, power mirrors, ABS and so on. To the best of my knowledge, everything works as it should on the truck and I am comfortable driving it anywhere.
As you can see from the pictures, this Tracker is in amazing condition. However, as you would expect, there are a few flaws. It has several small dings that could easily be removed by a dent professional if you desired and a few small scratches. The grille is chrome plated plastic and as is characteristic with these, the chrome is wrinkling in a few spots. Finally, a small piece of the silver body armor at the leading edge of the driver's rear door is chipped off. None of these things stand out and the truck presents itself extremely well and I get compliments on it all the time. The clear coat was starting to turn white in a few areas on the upper surfaces so I had the top surfaces re-painted since the rest of the truck was so nice.
Trackers are cool little SUV's. They are large enough to be usable yet smaller enough to be very maneuverable and economical. They are true 4x4's with the low range transfer case, steel ladder frame, and 8" of ground clearance. The Tracker received a 5 star rating in front crash tests by the NHTSA and this one has the optional ABS brakes which make it a safe vehicle as well.
Nice unabused Trackers are getting harder to find. They actually have a following and even clubs for them. This is an exceptional example that you can enjoy and still have it maintain or even increase in value. It runs and drives as good as it looks and is something you can have pride of ownership in.
