Description
2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer SS (Super Sport, it ain't no joke!), 6 liter V8 pushing 391 horsepower and 395ft lbs of torque, full time all-wheel-drive system, body color bumpers, sleek painted grille and 20" chrome wheels, sleek black two tone leather with SS embroidered headrests, HEATED SEATS, all the bells and whistles!
The previous owner was a GM mechanic who advised me that a new transmission was put in around 85K miles and a new motor at 90K all under warranty by the dealership (which I can confirm as it also has a 2007 oil pan which holds more oil and larger filter).
Paint is in excellent shape with the exception of the front quarter panel (see pics). There are also a few spots on the front bumper caused by devil spawn, commonly known as Love Bugs. And some dents in the hood from a tree branch falling on it. The interior is excellent, leather seats are in superb shape! The engine is in excellent shape as well. I would say it purrs like a kitten but it sounds more like an African Lion who just ate a gazelle.
The fan clutch was changed about 5K miles ago (they wear out about every 50K miles) and while I had that off we replaced the water pump and put new belts on. Since the shocks were still stock they also just got replaced a couple hundred miles ago with Belltech Drop Struts up front and Belltech Street shock in the back (lowered 1" around). Just had an alignment done after the new shocks went on and the tires have at least 50-75% tread left.
AWD chain was changed about 5k miles ago by Brooksville Transmissions which has been around since before I was born (they say to replace them at 100K).
I still drive this beast around town so the mileage may vary from day to day but it's under 123K.
