FOR SALE
2005 Chrysler Grand Voyager 2.8 Limited CRD
with STOW N GO seats - silver/auto
New MOT & service 22nd May!!!
Only selling my car as having changed jobs a year or so ago and using the car for lots of short journeys each day it really isn't cost effective, and my wife doesn't like big cars (selling her smart car currently too) so swapping isn't going to work. I will be looking for a smaller MPV, but sadly I know I won't get the luxuries I had with the voyager. I loved the heated electric memory seats, all the controls seem to be electric and at your finger tips.
This is a great car and is in good condition with average mileage for its age. Currently approx. 141,000miles which will change as in daily use. It has served us well since May 2012 when we bought it and as a family of 5 we've cruised in absolute comfort to Italy and France for summer holidays. The latter being a camping trip and with a roof box, part of the rear bench dropped down and even putting bits in the stow 'n' go compartments, we had plenty of room for the 3 kids to recline and sleep.
Garage replaced the radiator on purchase, and since then we've had to replace the alternator a couple of years ago, a related pulley last year, but otherwise no other major faults. Will include all the history and other receipts that came with it and since.
The interior is great with 7 leather seats in fantastic condition, lots of space, overhead storage and just sheer comfort. The silver with black tinted windows does look great too. The bodywork does have signs of wear and tear due to its age, plus, sadly thanks to a few 'numpties' out there the car has a few blemishes which I have tried to picture. A dent in driver's door and front passenger wing, some paint flaking on rear bumper and a scratch down the rear passenger door. Not that they detract from the overall good looks of the car. Otherwise, the only other issue I am aware of is the two rear power sliding doors only work manually. I've read two common causes are an internal plastic pin snapping (replaced with a piece of wire coat hanger on YouTube video) or a wire in the cable track (again, with plenty of videos illustrating a simple repair)I just haven't had much opportunity to do much about it, and often opened them manually anyway. The power boot works fine and that is great when you've got a trolley full and it's pouring as you can open on approach and you're under shelter to load the boot.
Under new tax rules you will need to tax it.
Passed MOT 22nd May & serviced
£2,750
Please note, just re-listed and will not sell for £1600 or £2000 as some felt they could offer when the first listing ended. Please don't waste my time and yours with silly offers, independent valuation and Autotrader both put over £3000 as a value so very reasonably priced. Advertised elsewhere also.
Feel free to message me with any questions or text only initially (as likely to be in work) on 07964 864466.
Thanks for stopping by!
