1993 Chrysler Imperial with 6,734 ORIGINAL miles.
Big Mama is still complaining that my driveway looks like a used car lot. She also says that I spend more money on the insurance agent than I do on her. Well if she looked as good as this car does, I might be tempted to send some more money her way. So here for your consideration is my 1993 Chrysler Imperial in Mediterranean Green with Dove Grey leather interior. I would love to tell you that it is perfect, but hey it is a 28 year old Chrysler, so there are some warts to this beauty.
The GOOD, the BAD, and the UGLY
The GOOD!
- The prettiest car I've ever owned.. and I've owned more than my fair share through the years. As you would expect, I get compliments on this car everywhere I take it.
- Car is mechanically sound from front-to-back and from top-to-bottom. Car starts right up and idles smooth. I'd feel confident to take this car anywhere, any time.
- A/C blows cold, stereo sounds great, andthe car drives like a dream.
- Oil/Filter just changed, tires are new, it's ready to go.
- Pictures speak for themselves:Presentation:Go for a ride:BAD!
- Trip computer in the overhead console no longer displays anything. The EVIC needs repaired.
- Left/Rear power window draws power, but doesn't go down. Window may be stuck or motor needs replaced.
- Instrument cluster loses its connection to the body controller (BCM) from time to time. Could just be a broken/chaffed wire. I have a brand new/spare body controller for this car. However, nothing else in the car has an issue, so I do not believe that it is the body controller.
And The UGLY!
- The current owner, but you can do something about that.
