40 Years Young and still Regal
Much loved Valiant that has been repaired and serviced as required. Primarily been my wife's car for the past 14 years.
1975 Chrysler Valiant Regal Sedan VJ*
Vehicle details: 4 door sedan, seats 5 / Colour: Sienna / 3 speed automatic / Rear wheel drive / 4.3 l Carb / Build date June 1975 / No RWC / Rego until 30 July 2015.
- Has original Hemi 265 motor (new head gasket only, 2 years ago)
- Automatic 3-speed reconditioned in very good condition
- 3 Owner history: 1 year / 24 years / Us: 14+ years
- Odometer states 77,000km, actual is 377,000km
- No accident history; has bumps as shown (bottom of rear/quarter panel driver's side & a shallow dent on both passenger side-doors)
- Minor patchwork (present when purchased) on front, passenger bottom guard (under headlight/bumper)
- Standard general minor wear&tear given its age; side stripping removed.
- Rust: in very good condition overall, aside from a few minor areas (ie. rear/quarter panel bottom on passenger side; car-body doorframe area on rear passenger side) Please see photos.
- Given its age, the interior is in overall excellent condition, with some general wear from use (ie. side of driver's seat and a central dashboard split). Please see photos.
- Interior addition of bar behind front seats was due to personal preference; used to travel long distances in previous Valiants and it protected seats from stored suitcases.
**** UPDATE: the bar has now been removed and we can confirm the seating fully works correctly & with changing positioning, etc. ****
- Has towbar, but neck detached (included in purchase).
- Includes original Operator's Manual & Sevice booklet
- Has been parked in garage/carport throughout
