Valiant Charger VJ Sportsman - Matching Numbers
On offer here is a Valiant Charger VJ Sportsman. It is a matching numbers car, which is quite rare to find these days. It is in an unfinished project state. I purchased the vehicle as is, with the hope of completing the restoration, unfortunately due to personal circumstances, I am unable to do so.
As per the "Sportsman" specs it comes with a 265 Hemi engine and 4 speed manual gear box.
The car has had a respray, however there is still some rust in the floor, predominantly in the boot and one of the chassis rails also needs attention. I am told that these repairs can be done at a reasonable cost and parts needing attention can be purchased quite easily. The dash has been refurbished and is in very good condition. The engine runs (but needs a battery). The seats are in good condition, but are not currently covered in the traditional Sportsman's "red hounds tooth" tartan cloth, this can be purchase from Valiant restoration specialists. Complete with the sale of the car comes a new roof lining, new carpet and 2 tubs of parts ready to be put back on the car.
The VJ Charger Sportsman is becoming a popular collectors car with only 400 made and having a unique design amongst the Valiant Charger range. If you have any questions, please ask.
