Description
Hi there and
thank you for taking the time to read our auction.
We are currently looking for a new home for Percy Pluriel. Please do not be put off by his name, he has been my wife’s best friend since July 2009 and she absolutely adores him! When I asked her to summarise why she simply said:
“He’s the most versatile car you could ever own. Where else can you buy fun looks, practicality and the advantages of open-top driving all in a car that is only insurance group 7?”
She had a very good point! To be honest, the only reason she is reluctantly selling him is because we are now proud parents. With the arrival of our baby boy, we decided that a 5 door car would be much more practical for getting his car seat in and out of. Cue the purchase of another Citroen (she wouldn’t buy anything else) making Percy a little redundant. She would rather him get the attention and love that he deserves rather than sit on our drive doing nothing. So, without any further delay here are the details that you will need:

Car History
1) July 2015:
New Car Battery installed under the bonnet and also new batteries fitted in both car keys.
2) MOT July 2014:
New windscreen washer bottle fitted, all 4 indicators fixed due to incorrect colour, rear brake shoes replaced & offside rear braking binding repaired.
3) MOT July 2012:
Two tyres replaced & S/F rear exhaust section replaced.
4) May 2012
Discs and pads changed, rack ends replaced, TR ends replaced & front wheel alignment reset.
5) October 2010
One tyre replaced
6) March 2010
One tyre replaced
7) MOT July 2009
Discs and pads replaced
8) October 2009
Two tyres replaced & wheel balanced corrected
All of the above can be seen in the documents which the new keeper will of course receive. As you can see, whatever he needed…he got! My wife never placed a price on safety!
Things to consider:
1) As with all used cars there are the odd scratches here and there. Please see photographs and of course viewing is advised and welcome.
2) Currently, and for whatever reason, the driver side door will not open. This includes when you press the open button on the key fobs. You can however, still gain entry using the keys on the passenger door. This happened just after we had stopped using him, isn’t that just the way it goes! We do not know if it is a problem with the door catch, a fuse that may have blown with the central locking etc. We are not mechanics at all and therefore we do not really know. A search online revealed the following possibility:
