Citroen c5estate 1.6 hdi 57 plate

Selling my Citroen c5 estate 1.6hdi 57 reg. this car was registered on 31st dec 2007 making it 1 day from being a 2008 model. It has the facelift front end. Moted till dec 2016, 97,000 miles and full service history. Previous owner had it from being 1 year old and spent a lot of money on it over the years. Car has excellent tyres, suspension goes up and down perfectly, has just had a gearbox replaced and a brand new clutch fitted. It drives excellently, the only faults I can find are the drivers seat has a cigarette burn in it and the engine management light comes on once and a while, and dash flashes up depolution system fault, after speaking to a good mate of mine who is a very good mechanic he reckons the car needs to be taken for a long drive ( maybe 15-20 miles) at highish revs to clean the dpf as this is a common fault. The previous owner apparently didn't drive the car on long journeys and even when he did it wasn't at a very high speed, this is apparently bad for these type engines and starts to block the depolution filter up hence the fault code flashing up. I would take the car for a long drive but the road tax has obviously expired with the governments new tax laws. Everything else on the car works perfectly and it was like driving on a magic carpet when I collected the car. This is a cash only sale. Not interested in any p/exes or swaps.
