Description
Citroen C-Zero 2013 63 Registration Full Electric Plug-In Automatic EV. One Previous Owner. Full Service History. Superb Condition. All Parts Associated With The Electric Drive-Train Are Warranted Until September 2018.
This listing is for my superb 2013, 63 registration Citroen C-Zero EV Full Electric Vehicle, finished in very eye-catching Lips Red. The car has only covered around 13750 miles and I will just be using it lightly during the course of the listing. It has a full service history and I have included a photograph of the service book. There is no monthly battery rental to pay with this car and of course road tax is free for electric vehicles. (From 2017 only electric vehicles - zero emissions at the tailpipe - will be exempt from road tax).
The last service was carried out on 2nd September 2015 and I had the brake fluid and cabin pollen filter changed at the same time. This means that the car will not need to be serviced until September 2016 and my tip here is that the new owner will be wise to get it done by a Peugeot main dealer, rather than Citroen. I say this because the C-Zero is an identical car to the Peugeot Ion, but my local Citroen-approved Peugeot dealer charged a lot less than my local Citroen dealer would have done.
The basic 3 year warranty for the car runs until September 2016 but the car benefits from a 5 year guarantee on all of the parts associated with the electric drive-train. This means that the following parts are all guaranteed until September 2018:-
Traction Battery.
Traction Battery Control Unit.
Electric Motor.
Management Control Unit.
Converter/Charger.
Normal Charging High Voltage Internal Cable.
Rapid Charging High Voltage Internal Cable.
Independent Cable For Normal Charging.
Electric Vehicle Control Unit.
Reducer.
The car was first registered in September 2013 and I am the second owner, having bought it in March 2015. I have now totally caught the EV bug and would never want to return to driving a petrol or diesel car. This is partly due to the fact that automatic cars are far more sensible in stop-start urban driving but mainly because I'm saving 80% on fuel costs. I drive around 70 miles per week and tend to charge the car at home with the included mains charger. This costs around £1.75 in electricity but that's before you make use of any free charging points at motorway services or supermarkets etc. To be perfectly honest, we have not even noticed any extra on our electricity bills and these cars are a total no-brainer unless you have to cover large distances.
The car has all the useful features that you would find in a similar petrol or diesel car of this size such as climate control, all-round electric windows, automatic electrically-folding mirrors that operate when you lock the car from the key fob, dusk sensing headlights, Isofix seat anchor points etc. It also has a decent-sized boot and is surprisingly spacious with plenty of room for four. With the rear seats folded there is a great deal of useable space, mainly due to the fact that the tailgate does not slope much, plus the car is tall for its size.
I have the complete book-pack that came with the car from new, both keys (one remote and one standard) and the V5 document that is in my name. The car also comes with both a set of genuine Citroen carpet mats that are in virtually new condition, plus a set of tailored aftermarket rubber mats that are fitted at the moment as I much prefer these.
Please get in touch via eBay messages if you would like to view the car. We are located in the DY6 area of the West Midlands, about two miles from Dudley. I would ask that you give me one day's notice, just so that I can ensure being at home. If you are looking to buy a C-Zero, then you will not be disappointed when you see this one.
I can accept payment by cash or bank transfer and while I am also happy to be paid via building society cheque or bankers draft, please be aware that payment by either of these methods would have to clear into my bank before you collect the car. Thanks for looking and please feel free to ask any questions that you may have. I am usually able to answer them during the evening when I have a bit more free time.
