Citroën: Other ID20

I bought this car seven years ago from Christopher Serpanos of Seattle for $7900US and I have driven it about four thousand kilometres since. It has a four speed manual transmission and all of the usual features of a D model Citroen, including the hydraulic suspension, etc. It has a small howl in high gear that is probably due to a bearing and the body is pretty good but does have some rust, including a perforation in the right front lower fender. I replaced the steering rack about four years ago now, putting in a rack that had been rebuilt by Chris Dubuque in Seattle. I also replaced the front spheres a couple of years ago and had the old ones rebuilt by John Vasolopolous of Abbotsford, B.C. Last year I replaced the right front drive shaft with a good used one from another local car. I also repaired the clock. For the last four years it has been serviced locally by the mechanic son of a former Citroen dealership owner [the dealership was in Oeuvre, France, near Paris]. It runs well and is very pretty both inside and out. It has been a delight to own this car and I expect it will give pleasure to all future owners.
