Here we have my DS3 R3 rally car for sale!
i purchased the car for the british rally championship in 2012/2013. i have now moved over to rallycross so the car has not competed since 2013!!
the car has always been prepared regardless of cost and maintained as per citroen racings manual and recommendations! the car was fully prepared for the 2014 season the car was repressed and the engine and gearbox sent away for rebuild! the engine is totally brand from Oreca and is still in the box! i haven't fitted the engine as i wanted the new owner to see that it really is brand new! the gearbox rebuilt and still in its box too, it had the latest spec evo gearbox upgrade too so is basically new everything in the original casing! the hydraulic box for the paddle shifter is also freshly rebuilt all transmission work by 3mo!
the car has both Tarmac and Gravel kits, the dampers are all at less than half of there rebuild mileage so you will comfortably have a hole season of rallying in them before there rebuilds!
the brake callipers have had new pistons and seals fitted so work like new!!
the car comes with 14 gravel wheels and 14 tarmac wheels and loads of tyres lots of brand new ones too probably close to 50 tyres!!
also has all the citroen racing upgrades, upgraded data memory, lamp pod, cod rivers foot rest/washer bottle.
the car has no seats or belts as they are out of date, i didn't want to just replace them as drivers tend to come in all shapes and sizes and probably have a preferred seat anyway.
the car also has a huge spares package mostly brand new parts!! theres brand new pre bedded discs with bells,intercoolers,air intakes,air filters,drive shafts,steering rack, electronics, body panels, turbo and so much too much to list!! This really is a great package ready kick some arse in the British rally championship or in the BTRDA it really is a fantastic car to drive and still is the most competitive FWD rally car around and at a bargain price!!
the car is in original r3 spec and is not the max version. theres a difference in brake disc size and around 30-40 bhp, the r3 spec will still be competitive and around 20k cheaper so have your first season with r3 then upgrade to max once you've used this brand new engine!!!
although the engine is not in the car it can be fitted by my mechanics in a day or so, i think the best way is to get the car to the new owner and have my guys fit the engine at your place so they can run through the car with you as they fit it teaching you more about the car!! very valuable if you've not worked on one before!
the engine can be fitted before collection too but not until the car has been purchased! i can come along to your first test and show you the systems of the car so you know how it all works!
the car is ready to go so come and have a look!!
