Description
Reluctant
sale due to storage is my beloved 1977 Datsun 620 Pickup. I bought the truck from the original owner up
in Fresno, California. This is a popular
and economical Datsun/Nissan pickup truck produced in Kyushu, Japan. 1977 was the first year of production of the
“Deluxe Cab” version which stretched the cabin 24 centimeter (10 Inches). This truck has reliable and simple to work on
L20B engine (110 HP) and the standard F4W71 4-Speed manual Transmission. In 1977 the Datsun 620 had rums brakes in all
four wheels but my truck was professionally converted to front disk brakes by a
well experienced and reputable race shop in Northridge, California. The engine, transmission, and lots of
suspension components were rebuilt or replaced when I restored it in 2007. At that
time the truck was painted in its original color and the exhaust system was
replaced. This truck at the time of restoration received a lot of NOS parts
acquired through different places in the US and other countries abroad. I have
kept a binder with receipts that total of $10,000 dollars. This amount doesn’t include other items done
to the truck where cash was paid and receipts not given.
The truck was restored about seven years ago and driven a lot for about two years, then put away and rarely driven since. The truck is not in the state it used to be, so I recommend potential buyers to see it, drive it, and ask question to better inform themselves about the current condition of the truck. I’ve decided to finally sell it because it hurts me to see it deteriorating as time passes by and would like to find someone who can enjoy it just as much as I did.
