Description
Hello eBay,
Up for sale is my 1978 Datsun 620 project that I recently bought thinking it was something important that I needed to finish and get back on the road. My calling, My Passion, whatever you call it. I'm 6'2 and I look like that gorilla cartoon charter driving it. So my dreams are shattered in a million pieces and there is no coming back. Imagine me going to car shows in this? Everyone would say look at that gorilla in that tiny truck. So I said time to sell it. I paid way to much for it in the first place and now I'm trying to get some of my money back so I can get a nice folding bicycle. So that said, here is some info on the truck.
It's a 1978 Datsun 620 that was originally sold in Anaheim, California(Thats right! Right next to Disneyland!) and it has been here in California for all of its life. The original owner was a welder and used this truck for his jobs around town. So actually the mileage could be lower than what the listing says, so who knows. Since 2008 It has been used for a yard dog truck here in the desert. So the tires and the interior have taken a little beating. The body is surprisingly straight with some dents and dings present. The paint has pealed and the metal has surface rust. The body or frame have no rust going through it(no salt roads here. just lizards, dust and sunshine). It starts and runs good with a little hesitation, but it will get with the program. The transmission shifts smoothly and it drives somewhat strait. The brakes are definitely lacking something, but they work. The doors are stiff to open and close and the windows need some work. The truck will need to be gone through before you make it road worthy. Its a good base to start from. A blank canvas, just like Picasso worked with. Are you the next Picasso?
The title is clear with no accidents or liens. The registration is in NON-OP status.
It is being sold in "AS-IS CONDITION". With no warranty.
Local Pick-up only or if you have a transportation service is okay. I will not ship.
Your welcome to check it out before the auction's close.
Thanks for checking this out. Have a great Day! This Japanese classic could be yours. Just think about.
