Running and driving 240z series 1 low vin rare

Up for sale is a good, project condition 1970 Datsun 240z, Series 1 low vin. This is a running and early 240z with a desirable low vin number, HLS30-01902. Low production cars do not come up often and this one has retained almost all of its original hard to find part! Original Series 1 parts still present on the car are the 4 screw SU Carbs, correct E46 manifold and crossover tube, correct (rare) 2400 valve cover, e31 head, numbers matching original L24, series 1 140LB oil gauge, 20mph speedometer, series 1 steering wheel, ash tray, fiberglass console, correct inspection doors with the plastic type clips (clips missing), correct series 1 hood without plate, steel wheels with D hubcaps and lastly and most rare, are the vented brake shield and scalloped rotors to allow air flow. All of these parts are difficult to find and extremely important when purchasing a early production series 1 like this. The car runs and drives well, we recently installed a new fuel pump, fuel lines, spark plugs, spark wires, coil, electronic ignition, clutch master, rear brake pads and rear wheel cylinders. Our main focus was to get the car back running and driving, it still requires more work to be fully roadworthy but it is at a good starting point. The car does have a sunroof and replacement new glass can be purchased if desired. Overall the body is decent, the floors are not in the best shape and could be replaced, the front frame and battery tray are fairly solid. Interior of the car is decent but aged, the dash will need to be repaired as it has cracked over time.
Overall this is a decent driving project series 1 240z with a low production number that has many of its original rare pieces and would make for a valuable starting point that is sure to appreciate over time.
