Description
This is a beautiful Dodge Avenger SE with a V6 engine and automatic transmission. The best part is that it only has 18,205 miles on it!!!! It is still being driven, so that mileage will change.
The reason for the low mileage is this wonderful story..This car belonged to one of my young, newly married customers. They were having money troubles, so she decided to cancel the car insurance to help her husband out with the bills. ( How she could cancel the insurance on a new car with a loan is a mystery to me) Later that same week, her husband, (who drinks a bit sometimes), was on the way home at night when he lightly sideswiped a few parked cars and had a flat tire. It was towed to me and I looked it over. It was mainly a mirror on the right side, bumper cover, new tire and repair and repaint the scratches on the right front fender and door. When I talked with her about the damage I was informed about the lack of insurance and that she would get back to me. Several months went by, and when I finally did talk with her, she said she and her husband were just going to walk away from it , abandoning it and stop making payments. At this point, I had to file a mechanics lien on it to obtain a title before I got too deep into the repairs. The process took FOREVER!!!!! Finally, I did get a clean "A" brand title showing 18,140 miles.
I am not a dealer, just an automotive technician was has been doing repairs and restorations since 1973.
I did not do the body work, it was done by a professional shop and carries a lifetime warranty on the work.
IT runs great, all power options work the way they should, Air conditioning is cold, and it has had seat cover on the front seats since new to protect the fabric. It has factory fog lights added.
Now for the disclaimers..there are some small marks on the rear bumper, all have been touched up and probably aren't even visible in the photos. It has not been detailed, so there may be dirt and dust inside and outside the vehicle. There may possibly be a little remaining on the factory powertrain warranty, but you will not need it.
