Description

Bottom line, Hundreds of hours in labor and thousands of dollars spent. Over four years to get the car to this point. I purchased the car back in 2014. When I purchased the car it was recently painted with a new vinyl top, carpet, and headliner. The car looked pretty good and the previous owner had said this car was a driver. Not the case the motor and tranny were tired and needed rebuilding. So saying that this is what I've done to the car in the past four years. In order I rebuilt the front end, ball joints, pit-man arm, Idler arm, tie rod ends ect. Rebuilt 440 big block. Balanced and blueprinted, Rods trued APR rod bolts, Kieth black pitons .30over, Steel crank turned, Ported 452 heads with new hardened seats and ss valves. Steel billet double roller timing chain. Steel billet harmonic balancer. Lanauti cam springs and hydrolic lifters. Elderbrock rpm dual plane intake port match to the heads. Street demon carb. Sent the 727 torque flight transmission out for rebuild with a 2600 rpm stall converter. I stripped the interior out painted the floor pans and front dash. Installed new seat covers on the front bucket seats. New dash cover. went through the wiring installed speaker wires to the trunk for future use.I installed new a Tach and oil, water, voltage gauges. Replaced all the window felt and rubber. New front marker lights and lens.New fender antenna. Replaced the brake and fuel lines. Rebuilt the rear differential. 3.55 gears with 742 case rebuilt sure grip with new axle bearings seals and rear brakes including wheel cylinders. New Mopar performance leaf springs with performance coil shocks. New fuel tank and sending unit, New flip top gas cap and down spout. New hood pins and latches, Other than the rear leaf springs and differential I completed this work in 2016 put roughly 200 miles on the car going to a few shows. This is when I opened up Pandora's Box. What i mean bye that is when i went to replace the rear leaf springs i realized that the rear frame rails and cross member was worse than I thought. The trunk pans were rough and i new the quarters had patches but had no clue how rough it real was until dropped the fuel tank and take a real good look at things. I decided based on the condition of the rear of the car to replace all the sheet metal and frame rails and do it right. I cut out the trunk pans ,cross member, drop down pans outer wheel wells quarter panels and rear frame rails. So here we go I replaced all the sheet metal mentioned along with new frame rails and rear valance. I rebuilt the rear inner rockers also. Basically the back of the car has all new sheet metal. This work was just completed it took roughly 600 hours and 3k in sheet metal.I used metal to metal filler on all the welds on the quarter panels, and seam sealer everywhere else, All the sheet metal work was welded no glue. Epoxy primed and the trunk interior was painted black, along with the undercarriage. Nothing was left undone. I decided to leave the car in epoxy primmer for the next owner to finish. The paint is driver quality and the quarters can be color matched or you can paint the car in your color choice. This car was done right the rebuilt 440 launches this car out of the hole with the rebuilt 727 tranny and 3:55 sure grip rear end. The car drives straight and brakes as it should. I built the motor to be a good street strip option. Mechanically this car is an A+. Body wise all of the bad sheet metal has been replaced. The only patch is on the driver side floor pan. This car has fewer than 500 miles on the rebuild .I have hundreds of pics documenting the build that I can send to interested parties along with a video of the car running. The last pic was taken before I rebuilt the back end of the car. I require a $500 nonrefundable deposit. There is no warranty offered or implied, I highly recommend you call me or email me for more info, 218-590-9368 I will honestly answer your questioned.
