Description
For sale is a 1973 Dodge Challenger. It has a 340 V8 with a 4 Barrel.Ipurchased the car 2 years ago from New Jersey, towed it home and its beenin my garage waiting for its turn to be restored.Due to my sistersrecent death, priorities have shifted from play toys to raising her 5kids.The reason I purchased this car was because its all complete.Having restored a few Mopars, I know the endless quests for a piece ofmolding, an ashtray, bumper jack etc. They didnt make a lot of anyMopar cars, but even less are unmolested.I have literally started thecar every 2 weeks with all my other cars and this is the only Mopar Ihave ever owned that actually idles when first started.
It is B5 blue with a repaint being done roughly 5 years ago by theprevious owner. Its shiny and looks good but its not a show car.Inormally take them all the way apart and put them on a car twirler andsandblast and start from ground zero. The plan for this car was prettymuch disassemble, clean, go through it completely and add a 6 packsetup.Noticed today that there is a weeping of power steering fluid.I'll know tomorrow when I put it on my lift if its a line, pump orsteering box.Pretty straight forward repairs that I have no issuedoing, just putting it out there.
Car has black interior with bucket seats, center console, slap stickautomatic. All the trim, bumpers etc is there. This would be a greatwork on it and improve it while you enjoy it and drive it car.Maybe afather and son / daughter project.Thats all up to you.
If you want to show up and take a look, feel free, bring some money and go enjoy it.I willgladly assist with transporting if needed, but we will have to work allthat out after we come up with a mutually agreeable price. The daysof finding one thats complete that you can drive and enjoy are rapidlypassing.Ive built more than my fair share of Mopars from a pile ofparts after someone got in over their head to know that all the stuffyour missing costs more than what you paid for the car.
Make your Christmas awesome!
This car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early.
