“HELL” I Built a Hell Cat 3 Years before Chryslerdid it .
Kinda looks like theycopied mine , LOL but mine is much nicer!
Prettier and morePOWER.
I took delivery of mySpecial ordered 2008 Challenger 500 SRT . One of only 500 made.
I put about 3000 Miles of Cruising Racing and Fun.
I get bored easy so Idecided to step it up !! ..In 2010 !!
I contacted ArringtonEngine at Hemi.Com . I told them I would like to go 10 seconds andreliable.
They said we have apackage for you ! The sold me a fully built New Gen 426 cu inch Supercharged HEMI. This is a completely killer built engine top to bottom for my Challenger.
Dynoedat 817 H//P with 790 ft lbs of tork … Why settle for 707??
I kept my original6.1 engine here sitting in a crate.
I installed the twinhat in tank Electric fuel pumps and dual feed lines to the Blower.
They used a MagnussonSuper Charger with Intercooler.
I installed a StageII Transmission with high stall tork converter and NHRA approved flex plate.
Next I installed theGet Rag 230 mm rear axle assembly posi 390 gear ..
I also changed outthe Driveshaft for a blow up proof style .
I installed 18 inchWeld Racing Wheels and Mickey Thompson Drag Radials .
I ran it easy 10:90sbut when I ran to 10:78 they sent mehome for a Six Point roll Cage.
I installed a real nice custom made. RPM. BOLT in StyleSix Point Cage. And Hurst Roll Control.
The headers haveElectronic cut outs to keep it streetable .
As you can see I alsodressed this up to keep it a show car .
HELL .. You wouldwalk right past a Hell Cat to look at this one.
HELL .. You won`tlose Twenty Large the minute you drive it off the lot.
HELL .. This one is a lot cheaper!
HELL ..You won’t have to wait a yearfor one , its right here ready to go .
HELL .. I did this when it was still a pipe dream atChrysler ..LOL
Now for the crappypart . I suffered a major Stroke and they took my license before I could go back .
HELL YES!!!
After hoping amiracle would happen the car is forsale after sitting under the cover in storage.
The car runsbeautiful & Flawless ! It was just driven 2 hours on the Highwayfrom storage to home .
I kept everythinghere if you ever wanted to put it back to stock.
Why would you itsAWESOME just the way it is .
