Description
There were only 14,666 chargers sold in the US. Of this number only half came with the Big Block 383 motor and auto trans. Very few actually came with the 440(660) or hemi (117). With that being said these cars are not so easy to find! I tried posting this car on Facebook but was inundated with Looky Lous and tire kickers wasting my time. I am sorry if you were a serious buyer before. The few ruin it for the many.
This Charger was born a rare AA1 paint coded Silver Metallic with a black vinyl top, a black trunk stripe and black upper door rails to match the black vinyl top. I have never actually seen one with this combo, even with hours upon hours of internet searching. Here is a chance for a very unique optioned car.
This car had a very old repaint/rebuild done well before my time. The car is very complete with all the trim and most of the emblems as well(2 are broken). I will highlight what I think it will for sure need sheet metal wise as I want to represent the car correctly and honestly: - Lower quarter panels - Lower Fender panels- Drivers fender has large dent in front and a dent at the door jam - Floor Pans - Miscellaneous patches in door and hood - One corner of the rear deck lid near the glass will need a small patch(quarter size holes)
I added a photo of the Fender Tag but I will post the break down bellow Feel free to confirm my decoding as I am only human and my info is as good as the sites providing it.
