Description
We purchased the General from Wichita, Kansas and the owner had it built by Cram Racing in Virginia known as their General Lee 31 build. It was completed in late December of 2013.
After purchasing it in 2016 several upgrades have been made to make this a good handling, reliable & fun modern car.
Garaged all year long and enjoyed as much as possible on good weather days. It has been driven locally for Birthday Party drive bys, to car shows, around town cruises and no issues with any of our long drives.
The General was trailered to Virginia to make an appearance at Cooter's Last Stand in 2017 and driven to Comic Con in Marlboro, MA for a photo shoot with fans & some of the cast from the Dukes of Hazzard.
Be sure to add extra time to your cruise as The General Lee is a Celebrity on wheels and everywhere we went, we were stopped for fun conversations, walks down memory lane and many photo shoots from all walks of life from 3 year olds to 90 year olds.
Everyone loves General Lee!
They all want to know if it has the horn, YES! And if the doors are welded shut, No. No hood slides ever done (at least none that we know of).
Going by my meticulous standards, it is not an Award Winning “show car” as it was built to be a nice reliable, fun driving, non matching numbers General Lee but is still a show stopper in its own right! It is a GREAT car and is Local Car Show worthy but it is also a family car and built to be driven & enjoyed.
Thanks for bidding and we hope the winner enjoys the General as much as our family did!
