Description
This 1967 Dodge Charger is a gold-on-gold example that is powered by a rebuilt 383ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes hideaway headlights, 15″ American Racing wheels, air conditioning, and an AM radio. Modifications include an Edelbrock carburetor, a Magnaflow dual exhaust, and an MSD ignition coil. The car was built at the Hamtramck, Michigan plant in 1967 and resided in Florida before the selling dealer’s acquisition in April 2021. This Charger is now offered with service records and a clean Florida title.
The car is finished in gold and features red pin-striping along the fastback roof. Chrome trim adorns the belt-line, windshield, windows, rocker panels, wheel arches, and bumpers. Additional exterior details include hideaway headlights, fender-mounted turn indicators, dual side mirrors, and a body-wide taillight panel.
Staggered-width 15″ American Racing wheels are mounted with 215/70 front and 275/60 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Stopping power is provided by front disc brakes with red-painted calipers and rear drums.
The cabin features four bucket seats trimmed in gold vinyl along with a matching dash pad, door panels, and black carpets protected by Charger-embroidered floor mats. Amenities include fold-flat rear seats, front vent windows, cup holders, air conditioning, and an AM radio.
The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a quartet of electroluminescent gauges including a 150-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer. The five-digit odometer shows 69k miles, though total mileage is unknown.
The 383ci V8 was rebuilt in preparation for the sale. Work is said to have included refurbishing the cylinder heads and replacing the bottom end bearings. Features include a polished Eldebrock air filter housing, finned Mopar Performance valve covers, an Edelbrock carburetor, and an MSD ignition coil. There are service records that can be provided for the work.
Feel free to message me with any questions or if you would like any other pictures or videos of the car. It is a perfect running and driving car that gets all the looks!
